I visited London ’92 ’94 ’96.  And my friends said, “Are you rich to go abroad many times?”  Though I don’t intend to advertise of travel agent, I use very cheap travel.  Seven-day trip to London with return ticket, six nights hotel and six breakfast, total is about 600-700 pounds.  And I save money for a trip to London.  I don’t wear any brand articles, any jewelry and ever makeup.  I wear only 9.99 pounds T-shirt and jeans. And I take part time job to save money.

       They (my three friends) have full-time job, and itinerary for the trip became different.  They had a five day trip and I took a seven day trip.  “Let’s meet at Piccadilly Circus.”

     My companion 13 year-old second son is now at a rebellious age.  He always grumbled on our way to London.  Our departure was 26 March which was the first day of Spring Holiday, so Tokyo Airport was very crowded.  I was determined to have hard trip full of difficulties.  My son thought that it took about 10 hours from Tokyo to London, but it took 13 hours because of an adverse wind.  Whenever he asked, “How many hours left?”  I answered, “Soon”.  The plane landed safely at 15:45.

    We arrived at Royal National Hotel near British Museum.  We were so tired that we went to bed soon.  We slept well.  We were blessed with six days clear blue sky.  We took London famous double decker to do the two hours sight of London.

While I explained about buildings, my son asked, “Where can I see the Eiffel Tower, Napoleon statue?”  I didn’t know whether he teased me or mixed up London with Paris.  I wanted to tap him.  I spent much money and time for him to take to London.  ‘ Do not throw pearls to swine.’   My deep knowledge of the British History was meaningless for naughty boy.  My son who loves games found Sega World at Piccadilly instinctively.  He got caught in games two hours a day and spent 150 pounds during six days.  I had to accompany him and spent dull hours.  In those lovely days I wanted to take a walk in the park rather than waste of time at noisy game center.
